Student Services

Computer Labs

Computer labs are available on every UB campus and open to all students. Each lab is overseen by a dedicated Lab Monitor who provides technical support as needed. Students can easily access the computers using their domain username and password.

Printing Services

At the start of each semester, students receive a $50 printing credit, allowing them to log in at the computer lab and use the printers. If additional credit is needed, students can purchase more at the Accounts Department and submit the receipt to the ICT Department for processing.

WiFi & Domain Access

Students can access UB’s WiFi network using their domain username and password. If you need to reset or change your password, whether for WiFi or email access, visit or contact the ICT Department for assistance.

Help Desk

The ICT Department operates a ticketing system to efficiently manage support requests and better serve the UB community. Submit a request through the ICT ticketing system, and we’ll respond as soon as possible. Notice: Requests must be made three days in advance. For urgent issues, please contact us phone or email.

Faculty and Staff Services

Techincal Support

The ICT Department has a dedicated team ready to provide technical support for the university’s operations. Services include software and hardware support, projector installation, printer repairs, antivirus installation, support for events, and more. Simply submit a ticket through the ICT Help Desk, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Phone Services

Yealink phones are provided to all faculty and staff members. To help you get started, the ICT Department has curated a list of video tutorials for easy reference. If you have not received your PIN code for making outbound calls, please contact the ICT Department.

Other Services

Moodle

Moodle is an online learning platform used by both students and faculty for virtual classes. Faculty can upload course materials, while students access and complete their courses. This service is managed by the Open Distance Learning (ODL) Department. For any questions or support, please contact ODL.

Do-IT

DoIT is an online learning platform designed specifically for Information Technology students at UB. Similar to Moodle, it enables students to complete coursework and submit assignments. Managed by the MPIT Department, this platform ensures seamless learning and academic support. For assistance, please contact the MPIT Department.

Electronic Databases

As a UB student, you have access to a wide range of electronic databases to support your research. The University of Belize Library offers an extensive collection of digital resources, including e-books, academic databases, research tools, and interactive learning platforms. For any questions or assistance, please contact the UB Library.

Student Portal

The UB Student Portal provides students with access to essential academic services, including course registration, the academic calendar, policies, and online payment options. New students can also use the portal to submit applications. To help navigate its features, a collection of guides and instructional videos is available for support.
